WHY YOU NEED GOD’S VISION 하나님의 비전이 필요한 이유

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)

비전이 없으면 , 백성은 망한다. (개역개정으로는 비전을 “묵시”라고 함.)

Why does the Bible say vision is so important in your life?  왜 성경은 비젼이 우리의 삶에 그토록 중요하다고 말씀할까요? Because? “where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18 KJV).  Here are three reasons it’s essential to have a clear vision of God’s purpose for your life.   왜냐하면 “비젼이 없으면, 사람들은 망하기 때문입니다.”(잠언.”(잠언 29장 18절)  여기에 당신의 삶에서 하나님의 목적에 대한 분명한 비전을 가지기 위한 필수적인 3가지의 이유들이 있습니다.

 

Without God’s vision, there’s indecision.

 James 1:8 says, “A person who has doubts is thinking about two different things at the same time and can’t make up his mind about anything” (GW).    하나님의 비젼(하나님의 계시)이) 없으면, 결정을, 하지 못하고 지지부진합니다. 야고보서 1장 8절은 “ 의심을 품은 자는 두 개의 다른 것을 동시에 생각하므로 어느 것도 그의 마음에 결정을 할 수없다.”

Without God’s vision for your future, you drift and wander through life. You don’t have goals, purpose, or meaning. When you just let life happen to you, you’re not really living!   우리의 미래에 하나님의 비젼없으면, 인생을 살동안 표류하거나 그저 의미 없이 방랑하게 됩니다. 작은 목표들, 목적, 또는 어떤 의미도 가지지 않게됩니다.. 당신이 그저 삶이  흘러가는 데로 놔두게 되고, 당신은 진정한 삶을 사는 것이 아닌 것입니다..

With no vision, you waste time and you miss opportunities. You don’t make the most of what you’ve been given, and that makes you a poor steward of your life. You end up just coasting. And when you’re coasting, you’re always heading downhill.  비전 없이 시간을 보내고 기회를 놓칩니다. 당신이 가질 수 있었던 대부분의 것들을 당신이 창조하지 않으면 당신 삶에서 스스로를 빈궁한 청지기로 만듭니다. 그저 의미 없이 타성적으로 살다가 끝납니다. 그리고 그렇게 살면, 항상 인생이 하향하게 됩니다.

 

 Without God’s vision, there’s division.                                                                                                                                 If you don’t understand God’s vision for your life, how can you expect others to support you in your purpose? In fact, the lack of vision makes you vulnerable to others steering you toward what they think or assume your purpose is.                     당신의 삶에 있어 하나님의 비전을 이해하지 못하면, 어떻게, 당신의 목적을 위해 다른 이들이 도와줄 것을 기대할 수 있을까요? 사실, 비전의 결핍은 당신을 다른 이들의 생각이나 혹은 당신의 목적이라고  어설프게 추측하는 것들에게 좌지 우지 되도록 당신을 약하게 만듭니다.

Only God can tell you your purpose because he created you specifically and uniquely to live it out. And only following his vision will allow you to live the abundant life God intends for you. If you aren’t sure where you’re headed, then don’t expect anybody else to go with you.  오로지 하나님만 당신에게 당신의 목적을 말씀해 줄 수 있습니다. 그분이 당신을 특별하고 세상에 하나밖에 없는 존재로 창조하셨기 때문입니다. 그러니. 그의 비전을 따르는 것만이 당신을 하나님이 의도하신 풍성한 삶을 살 수 있게 할 것입니다. 당신이 어디로 가야 하는지 확신이 안 든다면,, 그때는 어느 누구에게도  당신의 갈 길을 기대해서는 안됩니다.

Proverbs 28:2 says, “When the country is in chaos, everybody has a plan to fix it—But it takes a leader of real understanding to straighten things out” (The Message). Vision is the antidote to division.    잠언 28장 2절은 말합니다. “ 나라가 혼란에 빠지면, 모두가  고치려(자리를 차지하려고) 계획을 한다.-반면에 진정한 지혜의 이해력을 가진 지도자는 나라를 더욱 강성하게 세워 유지한다.”

 

Without God’s vision, there’s collision. 

For many people, life is just a series of relational confrontations, financial crashes, and personal crises. It’s like a bumper car ride, where you just keep getting hit from all sides. Without God’s clear direction for your life, you will inevitably hit a dead end.  하나님의 비전이 없으면 충돌이 있습니다. 많은 이들에겐  삶이란 충돌. 금융위기, 개인 위기등이 관계적으로 얽힌 연속들입니다. 범퍼경주차 놀이와 같습니다. 여기저기 모든 방향에서 계속적으로 부딪힙니다. 하나님의 분명한 지시 없이 우리의 삶은, 마침내는 피할 수없이, 막다른 길을 만나게 될 것입니다.

The Bible warns of the consequences of not following God’s vision for your life: “Some have refused to let their faith guide their conscience and their faith has been destroyed like a wrecked ship” (1 Timothy 1:19 GW).

성경은 삶에 있어 하나님의 비전을 따르지 않은 것에 결과를 경고합니다.  ““어떤 이들은 그들의 양심을 인도하는  그들의 믿음을 거부하므로 파산한 배와 같이 그들의 믿음이 파괴되었다.”.” (디모데전서 1장 19절 )

Getting God’s vision for your life requires prayer, careful thought, and a continual effort to hear God’s voice. It’s the result of seeing things clearly, with eyes of faith rather than eyes of fear. When your faith guides your conscience, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of how to move forward with purpose.  하나님의 비전을 삶 속에 가지기 위해서는  기도, 진중한 생각 그리고 하나님의 음성을 듣고자 하는 지속적인 노력을 요합니다. 결과적으로 두려움의 눈보다  믿음의 눈을 가지면  분명하게 볼 수 있는 것입니다. 믿음이 선한 마음을 인도하게 되면 목적을 가지고  앞으로 나아갈  길에 대해 더 분명한 이해를 지니게 될 것입니다.
