느헤미야의 기도 : 응답받은 이유 - 4가지의 시크릿

 

Four Secrets To Answered Prayer

“Then [Nehemiah] said, ‘O LORD, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands, listen to my prayer!... I confess that we have sinned against you... Please remember what you told your servant Moses: “If you are unfaithful to me, I will scatter you among the nations. But if you return to me and obey my commands and live by them, then even if you are exiled to the ends of the earth, I will bring you back to the place I have chosen for my name to be honored”... Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me. Put it into his heart to be kind to me.'"

God wants you to pray bold prayers.

하나님은 당신에게 담대한 기도를 원하십니다.

 

For example, Nehemiah, cupbearer to King Artaxerxes, prayed a bold prayer when he heard about the desolation of Jerusalem. He prayed that God would move upon the king’s heart to allow him to return to Jerusalem to help the city rebuild its protective wall.

예로, 느헤미야는 아르타크 세르크세스 1세의 술관원으로, 예루살렘의 황폐해짐을 듣고 대담한게 기도를 했습니다. 그는 하나님꼐서 왕의 맘을 움직여, 그가 예루살렘으로 귀환하여 보호벽을 세워 도시를 재건하는 데 도울 수 있도록 허락해 주 시를 기도했습니다.

In his prayer, Nehemiah revealed four secrets to answered prayer: 그의 기도에는, 느헤미야가 응답받을 수 있는 기도를 할 수있게 한 4가지의 비밀을 보여줍니다.

 

 

Base your request on God’s character.  하나님의 특성을 알고 간청하기

 Nehemiah started his prayer by listing God’s character traits and deeds. He prayed with confidence because he knew who God was. You too can pray like you know God will answer you. Pray something like: “You are a faithful God. You are a great God. You are a loving God. You are a wonderful God. I’m expecting you to answer this prayer because of who you are. You can handle this problem, God!”

느헤미야는 하나님의 특성, 성향 그리고 태도를 열거하면 기도하기 시작했습니다. 하나님이 어떤분인지 그는 알았기에 자신 있게 기도했습니다. 여러분도 또한, 하나님이 답하실 것을 아는 것같이 기도할 수 있습니다. 이렇게 기도하세요. “신실하신 하나님, 위대하신 하나님, 사랑이 많으신 하나님, 놀라우신 하나님, 저는 당신이 어떤분인지 알기에 이기도에 답하시기를 기대합니다.. 이 문제를 해결할 수 있는 분입니다, 하나님. “

 

Confess the sins you’re aware of.  당신이 알고있는 죄들을 고백하기

 Nehemiah confessed his sins. It wasn’t Nehemiah’s fault that Israel had gone into captivity. He wasn’t even born when it happened. Yet, he included himself in the national sins. He basically said, “I’ve been part of the problem.”

느헤미야는 그의 죄를 고백했습니다 이스라엘이 포로가 된 것이 느헤미야의 잘못은 아니었습니다.. 그는 그 일이 발생하였을 때 태어나지도 않았습니다. 그러나 그는 그 자신도 그 죄에 포함시켰습니다. 그는 기본적으로 “저는 그 문제의 한부분이어왔습니다. “라고 말했습니다.

 

 

Claim the promises of God. 하나님의 약속을 요구합니다.

 Nehemiah prayed to the Lord, saying, “Please remember what you told your servant Moses” (Nehemiah 1:8 NLT). Can you imagine saying “remember” to God? Nehemiah reminded God of a promise he made to the nation of Israel. In effect, he prayed, “God, you warned through Moses that if we were unfaithful, we would lose the land of Israel. But you also promised that if we repent, you’d give it back to us.”

느헤미야는 하나님께 기도했습니다. 말하기를 ““하나님께서 하나님의 종 모세에게 말씀하셨던 것을 기억해 주세요.”.” (느헤미야 1장 8절) 여러분은 하나님께 “기억해 내세요.”라는 느헤미야는 이스라엘을 만들었던  약속의 하나님을 돼 내었습니다. 실제로, 그는 기도했습니다. “하나님, 당신은 모세를 통해 만약 우리가 불신실하면 우리는 이스라엘땅을 잃을 수도 있다고 경고하셨습니다. 그러나 역시 만약 우리가 회개하면 다시 우리에게 돌려주시겠다고도 약속하셨습니다. “

Does God have to be reminded? No. Does he forget what he’s promised? No. Then why should you remind God? Because it helps you remember what God has promised. 하나님은 기억을 돼 내어야만 할까요? 아닙니다. 그는 그가 약속한것을 잊었을까요? 아닙니다. 그러면 왜 당신은 하나님께 기억해 내시라고 해야 할까요? 왜냐하면 여러분이 하나님이 약속하셨던 것을 우리가 기억하고 있다는 알게 하기 위함입니다.

 

 

Be very specific about what you ask for. 아주 구체적으로 요청하기

 If you want specific answers, then make specific requests. If your prayers consist of general requests, how will you know if God answered them? 만약 여러분이 특정한 답을 원한다면, 그때 구체적인 요구를 합니다. 만약 당신의 기도들이 일반적인 넓은 영역의 요청이라면 하나님이 그것들에 어떻게 답을 할지  알 수 있을까요??

After Nehemiah spoke to the king, he wrote, “It pleased the king to send me” (Nehemiah 2:6 NIV). God answered Nehemiah’s prayer. 느헤미야가 왕을 알현한 후에, 그는 “ 왕이 나를 흔쾌히 보내기로 했다.”(느헤메야.”(느헤메야 2장 6절)이라고 썼습니다. 하나님이 느헤미야의 기도에 응답했습니다.

Nehemiah boldly prayed for success. Have you ever prayed, “Lord, make me successful”? If you haven’t, why not? Is it okay to ask God to make you successful? It all depends on your definition of success. I believe a good definition of success is this: “Fulfilling God’s purpose for my life in faith, love, and the power of the Holy Spirit.” That is a worthy life objective that you can pray for with confidence.  느헤미야는 담대하게 성공을 위해 기도했습니다. 여러분은 “하나님 저가 성공하게 해 주세요.. “ 이렇게 기도해 본 적 있나요? 그렇게 해보지 않았다면 왜 안 한 거지요?? 하나님께 당신을 성공하게 해달라고 기도하는 게 괜찮지 않은가요? 성공에 대한 당신의 정의에 따라 다르겠지요. 저는 성공의 선한 정의가 이것이라고 믿습니다. ” 믿음, 사랑 그리고 성령의 힘 안에서 내 삶에  하나님의 목적을 채우는 것.” 이것이 여러분이 자신 있게 기도할 수 있는 가치 있는 삶의 목적입니다. “

Next time you come to God needing answers to your prayers, follow Nehemiah’s example. Proclaim God’s character, confess your sins, claim God’s promises, and make specific requests. Then wait expectantly for God to answer!
