Pray To Be a Person Of Vision

“No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3 (NIV)    "다시 태어나지 않으면 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없다." 요한복음 3장 3절

When Moses and the Israelites were on the border of Canaan, God wanted them to enter the Promised Land in faith. But most of the spies Moses sent came back spreading fear about giants in the land.     모세와 이스라 엘민족이 가나안 입구에 있을 때, 하나님은 그들이  믿음으로 약속에 땅에 들어가기를 원하셨습니다.    그러나 모세가 보낸 다수의 정탐꾼은 돌아와서 그 땅에 거인들에 대한 두려움을  퍼뜨렸습니다.

Although two of the spies, Joshua and Caleb, told them they could defeat the giants, the Israelites sadly chose to believe the majority report of fear, not the minority report of faith. They didn’t believe the promise of God. As a result, they all wandered and died in the desert over the next 40 years, until a new generation grew up and was allowed to go into the Promised Land.   비록 여호수아와 갈렙 두 명의 정탐꾼은 거인들과 싸워 이길 수 있다고 말을 했지만, 이스라엘 민족들은 슬프게도 믿음의 보고를 하는 소수가 아닌, 두려움을 들고 온 다수의 정탐꾼을 신뢰하였습니다. 그들은 하나님의 약속을 믿지 않았습니다. 결과적으로, 그들은 새로운 세대가 성장하고 약속에 땅에 입성하는 것이 허락될 때까지, 40년 간을 사막땅에서 헤매다가 죽었습니다. 

"So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief” (Hebrews 3:19 NIV). That’s one of the saddest verses in the Bible. And it makes me wonder, “What blessing of God am I missing out on because of my unbelief?” To me, hell would be if God were to show me what he could have done in my life if I had believed him just a little bit more.What blessing of God are you missing right now, simply because you don’t believe? What will you miss if you’re looking at the future with eyes of fear, not faith?     "그들의 불신앙 때문에 그들은 입성 하지 못한 것을 우리가 본다."(히브리서 3장 19절) 성경에서 가장 슬픈 구절 중에 하나입니다. 그리고 그것은 내게 의문점을 만들었습니다. " 나의 믿음 없음이 하나님의 축복을 놓쳐 온 것인가?" 만약 내가 조금만 더 믿음이 있어서 하나님이 내 삶 속에서 이루어 줄 수 있었던 것을 하나님이 보여준다면 어떨까요? 하나님의 축복을 단순히, 믿음을 갖지 못해서 놓칠 건가요? 믿음이 아닌 두려움의 눈으로 바라봐서 무엇을 놓칠 건가요?

 

The starting point for getting God’s vision for your life is to first put your trust in Jesus Christ. You need to ask him to put his Spirit into your life. It’s the only way you’ll ever be able to see with eyes of faith and get God’s vision.  당신의 삶에서 하나님의 비전을 가지는 출발점은 예수 그리스도안에서 신뢰를 가지는 것입니다. 하나님께 성령을 달라고 요청할 필요가 있습니다.. 당신이 하나님의 비전을 가지고 믿음의 눈으로 볼 수 있게 되는 단 하나의 길입니다. 

Jesus says, “No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again” (John 3:3 NIV).  예수님은 말씀하십니다." 그 누구도 다시 태어나지 않으면 하나님의 나라를 볼 수 없다. " (요한복음 3장 3절)

When you’re born physically, you get the sense of sight. When you’re spiritually born again, you get a new set of spiritual eyes. You can see spiritual things you didn’t see before. Unless you’re born again, you can never see all that God has in store for your life. 당신이 태어났을 때, 당신은 시각적인 보는 감각을 가집니다.  당신이 영적으로 다시 태어나면, 당신을 영적인 새로운 시각을 가집니다. 당신은 전에 보지 않았던 영적인 것들을 볼 수 있습니다. 거듭나지 않으면 당신은 당신의 삶에 하나님이 채워놓으신 것들을 결코 볼 수 없습니다.

Jesus had some friends that were siblings: Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Lazarus died, and Jesus raised him back to life. And when he did, he reminded Mary and Martha: “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” (John 11:40 NIV)   예수님은 형제자매지간인  친구들이 있었습니다. 메리, 마르다 그리고 나자로입니다. 나자로가 죽었습니다. 그런데 예수님은 그를 다시 살려내었습니다. 그가 그리했을 때 그는 메리와 마르다에게 상기시켰습니다. " 내가 말하지 않았느냐. 너가 믿으면 너는 하나님의 영광을 보게 될 것이라고. " (요한복음 11장 40절)

How badly do you want to see God’s glory in your life? You’ve got to stop nursing your worries and make some commitments in faith. You’ve got to step out and move against your fears.    당신은 인생에서 간절히 어떠한 하나님의 영광을 보기를 원하시나요? 당신의 걱정을 멈추고 믿음으로 헌신하게 됩니다. 당신은 두려움을 벗어나 앞으로 나아갑니다. 

If you have never given your life to Christ, it’s time to be born again. Then you can start seeing with spiritual eyes. If you’re already a Christian, remember that God has brought you through so much, and he has a great future for you.   그리스도에게 당신의 삶을 드리지 않아 왔다면 이제 다시 태어나야 할 시간입니다. 그렇게 하면 당신은 영적인 눈으로 보기 시작할 수 있습니다.  만약 이미 그리스도인이라면 하나님이 당신을 끌어왔다는 것을 기억하시기 바랍니다. 그리고 그는 당신의 위대한 미래를 가지고 있다는 것을요.

God’s plans for you are good! Lay aside your eyes of fear and begin to see with eyes of faith so that you can get God’s vision.    당신을 위한 하나님의 계획은 선합니다. 하나님의 비전을 가질 수 있도록 두려움의 시각을 멈추고 믿음의 눈으로 보기 시작하세요.
